Hunger For Dance

HFD is the next step in your dance education and career.
We deliver quality and affordable dance instruction to the Caulfield area and its surrounds.

Dance schools provide an opportunity for individuals to learn the art of, and passion for dance.

Hunger For Dance (HFD) delivers quality and affordable dance instruction to Caulfield and its surrounds. Our teachers work with every student to accomplish their goals, delivering training that inspires, develops and nurtures. HFD aims to build a work ethic that will allow students to love what they do and create a platform to explore dance at the pace and interest level they choose.

HFD accommodate budding little dancers from the age of 2 through to senior students of 18 years.

Students of HFD develop in their dance education through broad selections of class and performance opportunities that consist of:
•Classes run a number of times throughout the day for all age groups, broken up in to morning and afternoon/evening sessions. Classes are a brilliant introduction to the experience of dance, camaraderie and teamwork. As well as having fun in a group setting, students also learn floor craft (spacing) and can improve timing and technique in learning from, and with other students.
•Private Lessons offer students the best value for their investment. With a private lesson, the students work one-on-one with an instructor, receiving personalised instruction and immediate, tailored correction. In learning the best methods one-on-one, both beginner and advanced students will find they develop faster.
•Performance is at the core of dance. It is what many students dream of and opportunities to showcase their progression as a dancer present in an annual end of year concert. No matter the age, class or skill level, the end of year concerts are all inclusive and developed to ensure every student has their time to shine in front of friends and family. In addition to the annual end of year concert, opportunities to perform in local community events and activities also present during the year and are an opportunity to showcase in front of a broader audience while representing Hunger For Dance.
•Workshops: Dance school terms operate in accordance with The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (Victoria)scheduled school term dates, including holiday periods. Specialised development workshops will be offer a number of times during each school holiday period. These workshops not only provide students with extracurricular opportunity to continue their dance education, but train with leading choreographers in their genre, appointed specifically to facilitate and instruct studentsenrolled in the workshops.
